KONNICHIWA!!
I'm back from the Jubilate in Batam! Got miss me?? XD
It was really tiring but a fun and fruitful one!! So it's definitely worth it!
Day 1
We departed for Batam and when we reach there a lot of them were very tired but we when straight for practice for around 2 hours before checking in. After dinner, we continued to practice before the performaning in the opening cermony. We also started the Angel and Mortal game and my mortal was Mei fang. My room-mates were Jing Ning and Layling That's about it for day 1.
Day 2
We were woke up by Tirta's morning call and we wash up for breakfast. We had 3 hours of practice plus workshops and we found out that Zhi Yong had broke his voice on that day! XD
So now we have a bass in choir! In the afternoon we did some teambuilding and when to rest before dinner. We didn't need to perform on the second night so we sat and watch the other choirs sing. Received two letter from my angel and i send one to my mortal.
Day 3
Had sectionals for 1 and a half hours and 2 hours of practice. We had tembuilding again and we when to the beach to play games. It was a lot of fun!(:
Then it was free time because we need to rest our voice for the SYF Presentation Concert later on. Received 1 letter and a handmade dustbin from my angel. Gave two letter and a bottle of vitamin drink for her. She fell ill so I very xin tong! T_T
Day 4
Last day ler!! So sad because leaving ler!T_T
HAd breakfast and checked out. We went to the local orphanage to visit the kids there. It was the only Chirstian orphanage and the children there knew very little english so it was rather difficult to communicate with them but somehow we were able to by hand signature plus broken english and not forgetting our translator Tirta and Joyce!XD
When i first saw them, I smiled at them very naturally and easily from the bottom of my heart. It felt so natural and easy when I thought i could never do it anymore. Is like they opened up my heart. I have never felt so good in my life.
The children were very cute and very proactive, at time it was pretty hard to control them but they listen to instruction. (:
Although they don't have parent to love them but they still smile so happily and love their newly found home. Being able to see them spending their live together, having only each other, they continue to walk on their with their lives, it really makes you feel very emotional.
After visiting we when for a seafood lunch. It was very abundant but I didn't really enjoy it as i don't really know how to eat seafood. Then we when shopping at BCS. Jess, Tirta and I bought bags and they were like so damn cheap!XD
On the bus Marssa announced to us who were our angels and guesed what! Victor was my angel !XD He so cute lor. Made me a dustbin and bought me a keychain. The keychain is a food product thingy. Lastly, we left Batam and head back to Singapore.
